The scientific research of our group is oriented to the experimental investigation of the space environment.
Members of the group participate in a development of space plasma instruments, processing and interpretation of data
collected during many international experiments, and are involved in a laboratory research as well.

- Cooperating institutions
- List of launched and planned instruments
- Publications in 1994, 1995,
1996, 1997, 1998, 1999,
- Proceedings of the NATO Advanced Research Workshop
"Coordinated Studies of the Solar Wind-Magnetosphere-Ionosphere Interaction: INTERBALL Observations",
held in Kosice, Slovakia, September 7-11, 1998.
Our current mission - MAGION 4 subsatellite and
INTERBALL-1 tail probe.
Design and development of scientific instruments for international projects in the space research.
Development of diagnostic methods and sensors for the study of the velocity distribution of charged particles.
Laboratory simulation of charging of small dust particles.
- Data processing and interpretation:
Investigations of temporal and space variations of the plasma parameters in the near Earth environment
(top ionosphere and magnetosphere).
Acceleration of charged particles in the geomagnetic field and in active space experiments.
Investigations of the Earth magnetospheric tail structure and dynamics.
Ion composition, dynamics and plasma origin of the Mars magnetosphere.
